The Japanese idea of a cat bar came to Italy

In Turin, two cat-like cafes will soon open. In Italy, these are the first examples of European fashion trends.

Italians love animals, which is worth at least a shelter for cats in the center of Rome on ancient ruins. Turin will be the first Italian city to open a cafe full of cats. I wonder who will get more pleasure: customers or cats?

Moreover, two such places are planned at once: cats will walk freely among the tables there, asking for affection (or, more likely, asking for something tasty). The first “cat bar” will open at Via Amendola 6D, at the same place where the first fast food was organized in the city in the 80s.

Other times, other desires: the new place will be called “MiaGola-caffè” (pun: “miagolare” in Italian means “meow”, at the same time, one of the meanings of the word “gola” is “gluttony”). Mistress Andrea Levine (Andrea Levine) said: "MiaGola With a capital“ G ”, because in this place the love of cats will combine with the love of good food."

Women only

The cafe team is supposed to be exclusively female, because, according to Andrea, cats really love women. Here is what else she told about her plans: "I would like the cafe to be modern and technological, with wi-fi access, which will allow guests not to lose touch with the outside world.

But at the same time, it should be a place of meetings and cozy leisurely conversations. Cat lovers, as well as dog lovers, will meet here and exchange experiences, ideas and just chat in a pleasant environment. "

Trend

The very first “cat bar” appeared in Taiwan, but the idea gained frenzied popularity in Japan with the opening of “Neko cafè” (“neko” in Japanese means “cat”). The Japanese cafe network has already conquered many European countries and will appear in Turin in the coming months, competing with MiaGola.

“We had a wonderful idea,” said Barbara Salerno, head of the Neko Turin. “We all love animals and created a charitable organization in Turin, calling it“ Neko ffff. ”Where f is a purr symbol. will appeal to talk about problem situations and cases of animal abuse. "

By the way, the leadership of "MiaGola" also does not forget about building and helping our smaller brothers: on one of the walls of the cafe there will be a video series with proposals to get a kitten or puppy, and conferences of veterinarians will be held in the banquet hall.

Three continents

In Europe, the first cafes for "catophiles" appeared in Paris and Vienna. “I went to a Viennese cafe to see how everything is organized there,” Andrea said. “But such establishments opened in Berlin and Budapest. In America, there is a Miao cafe in Boston. In general, there are a lot of people who don’t see anywhere in the world nothing strange about sitting there eating a salad and keeping the cat on its lap.

But how many cats will be in the Turin cafe? “At least five, as in Vienna,” Andrea shared, “and all from the nursery. I am a staunch defender of animals, and I’ll take all the cats from the nursery.” In Vienna, by the way, also all cats used to be stray.

But there are 12 cats in Paris. But according to Margot Candelon, the owner of the Cafè des chats, it’s not at all a lot: “They are snapped up by clients: after all, vibration from purring calms the heartbeat, heals arthritis and rheumatism, lowers blood pressure” .

Who knows. Perhaps, petting a cat before a stressful working day, you will not change your life, but you will undoubtedly improve your cat's day.

What to do and what to see in Naples: TOP-8 ideas from BlogoItaliano. Part I

Naples is a city that is difficult to relate unequivocally. Someone is trying to avoid it, someone can’t imagine life without Naples, but what can’t be taken from the city is a certain charm, which differs noticeably from the settlements of northern Italy. Perhaps the reason for this is the extraordinary harmony of the Gulf and Vesuvius, perhaps the royal past of the city, and perhaps the Neapolitans themselves, who are much simpler than the inhabitants of the northern part of Apenin.
